Built for Tough Australian Conditions
Insulect’s Air Break Switches (ABS) are engineered for rugged performance across Australia’s most demanding conditions. Designed for overhead distribution networks, they provide visible isolation, safety, and flexibility for routine switching and maintenance applications. Their modular design and weather-resistant construction make them suitable for remote, rural, and high-risk fire zones.
Reliable Switching with Visible Assurance
Our air break switches are designed with visible break features, ensuring clear confirmation of circuit isolation during operation. They offer dependable performance in switching and sectionalising tasks, with robust conductive components and minimal maintenance requirements. Available with or without load break functionality.
Mounting Versatility Meets Custom Design
Insulect ABS units offer flexible mounting configurations—including vertical, underhung, and pole-top options—to suit various utility standards and site layouts. Each unit is custom-built, with tailored blade types, contact configurations, and actuation methods to match specific installation needs.
