Liquid Flow Detection
Reliable Flow Monitoring for Forced Cooling Systems
Liquid Flow Indicators are engineered to provide clear, accurate confirmation of flow conditions in forced‑oil or water cooling systems. With durable construction, flexible installation, and switch options for alarms and control, these indicators help ensure cooling systems operate safely and efficiently.

Application Overview
These indicators are used in cooling systems that rely on forced oil or water circulation and need confirmation of proper flow rate, flow direction, or “pump on/pump off” conditions. They support control circuits, safety interlocks, and alarm triggering where accurate flow monitoring is essential.
What We Solve For
Cooling system failures can cause equipment overheating, reduced efficiency and unexpected outages. Liquid Flow Indicators help prevent these problems by providing:
-
Clear visibility of flow status
-
Optional switching for alarms or control
-
Indication of correct flow direction on select models
-
Robust construction that maintains performance over time
This ensures safer operation, better protection for critical assets, and fewer maintenance interruptions.
Features & Functionality

Flow Status Indication
Shows “pump on”, “pump off,” and on some models, flow direction.

Control Switching
Supports up to two SPST or SPDT switches for alarms and auxiliary equipment control.
Long‑Life Design
Die‑cast aluminum case with powder‑coat finish and stainless‑steel bezel ensures long service life even in demanding environments.

Fits pipe diameters from 2" to 8"; select models include adjustable preload springs to fine‑tune switch settings. Magnetically coupled dial assembly allows easy, leak‑free replacement.
Functionality & Options
-
Switching Options: Up to 2 SPST or SPDT snap‑action switches for alarm and control.
-
Dial Assembly: Magnetically coupled design allows field replacement without disturbing the sealed flange assembly.
-
Electrical Connections: Multiple connection types available—ANSI, military, permanent cable, quick‑connects and terminal boxes.
-
Lens Materials: Available in clear glass, tempered glass, plexiglass or UV‑stabilised polycarbonate.
-
Adjustable Vane Models: Some models offer adjustable preload springs for field‑tuned switching thresholds.
-
Pipe Size Flexibility: Can be installed on pipes with inside diameters of 2" to 8".
-
