  • Pan Pacific Hotel 207 Adelaide Terrace East Perth, WA, 6004 Australia (map)

The Electric Energy Society of Australia (EESA) will host EECON 2016, 17 & 18 November at the Pan Pacific Hotel, Perth. At EECON 2016 you will come away with an understanding of a variety of utility issues, the methods and tools which have worked successfully, and return to your organisation to implement the solutions outlined. The conference’s theme is “Evolution in the Electricity Industry, – understanding the opportunities and the threats”. EECON 2016 will have great speakers that will explain why Australia and particularly Western Australia are challenged with the problem of high and increasing costs of electricity services. The opportunities and threats that are facing our industry and the requirements and challenges to integrate new technologies, while maintaining existing technologies.

This conference will also provide an invaluable opportunity to catch up with energy industry developments from a ‘macro and micro’ view as well as encouraging many networking opportunities with colleagues from other networks and manufacturers. Based on past attendance we anticipate 100 – 150 senior delegates from the electric energy industry from Australia and overseas.

The conference will again include a selection of senior industry speakers and special guests, and feature parallel business and technical streams to attract the widest audience of delegates from the electrical and electricity supply industries.
