Overview

Across its coal‑fired power stations, Origin Energy plays an important role in keeping the Australian grid stable. A key part of this responsibility involves participating in Frequency Control Ancillary Services, which help maintain the balance between electricity supply and demand.

To meet these requirements and secure associated revenue, Origin Energy needed a reliable way to measure and record critical electrical data such as voltage, power, and frequency.
