When the team at the MacIntyre Wind Farm in southern Queensland set out to expand its renewable energy capabilities, it was clear a partner was needed who could deliver specialised equipment and responsive support. It found that partner in Insulect.
Insulect was contracted to supply a range of critical substation components for the MacIntyre project, including 33kV disconnectors, current transformers, and the all-important dead tank circuit breakers. Recognising the unique requirements of this two-stage wind farm development, Insulect engineers worked closely with the customer to ensure the equipment would seamlessly integrate with the site's specific configuration.
The Insulect team went above and beyond, sending technicians to the site to provide hands-on installation support and guidance. This personal touch was greatly appreciated by the customer, who, thanks to Insulect's expertise and dedication, was able to effectively get the equipment up and running smoothly and on schedule.
The MacIntyre Wind Farm project was a resounding success, thanks in large part to Insulect's ability to deliver customised solutions and their unwavering commitment to the customer's needs.
